How do you get to Courcenay?

Courcenay is easily accessible in various ways. You can of course take the car or motorbike, but we can also be reached by train and plane. Below we give a number of tips per means of transport:

Travelling by car (+/- 5 hours from Paris):

Are you coming from Paris, the Netherlands or Belgium (or e.g. Provence)? Then this is the easiest route and you avoid one-way roads:

Follow the A6 (route du soleil) and take exit 30 Belleville-en-Beaujolais. Roundabout take the 1st exit, follow signs Chauffailles on the D338 for 30.8 km to the roundabout in Les Écharmeaux.

Roundabout take the 3rd exit towards Cours-la-Ville. Turn right 100 m further, the D10, towards Cours-la-Ville. Follow D10 for 7.9km and turn right, D64 towards Cours. After 6km you will come to a junction where you go straight ahead. Take the left exit 300m later, nothing is indicated here.

End of road, in Mardore, right! Even if your navigation says left. Take the 1st road on the left, just after the sharp bend.

After 1.4km turn left, into the Chemin de Courcenay. This is a sharp bend and pay attention to the parallel road. You will arrive at Courcenay after 350m. Turn right after the house and you will find the car park on the left.

Are you coming from the West of France?

Make sure you take exit 67 towards Thizy on the N7 towards Roanne.

Follow the D504 to Thizy. In Bourg de Thizy, take the 3rd exit at the 2nd roundabout towards Cours.

Continue on the D308 towards Cours for 3.4km. Turn right here towards Mardore.

After 3.5km turn right onto Chemin de Courcenay. You will arrive at Courcenay after 350m. After the house turn right and you will find the car park on the left.
