Cancellation conditions

Cancellation policy:

We recommend that you take out good travel and cancellation insurance.

  • For a booking up to 6 weeks before the arrival date, you can cancel a reservation within 7 days, calculated from the final booking, without charge. To do this, send an email to info@courcenay.fr stating your booking number and the reason for your cancellation. Courcenay will confirm your cancellation after receipt and will refund the deposit.
  • For cancellations up to 6 weeks before the start of the rental period, 25% of the total travel sum will be charged.
  • For cancellations up to 3 weeks before the start of the rental period, 75% of the total travel sum is due.
  • For cancellations less than 3 weeks before the arrival date, the entire sum will be due.
  • If you have not arrived within 24 hours after the agreed arrival date without further notice, this will be considered a cancellation and there is no right to any refund.
  • In the event of later occupation of, or premature termination of the stay in the apartment, the full rental price remains due.
  • Cancellations must always be reported in writing (email) to the lessor.


Cancellation by Courcenay:

  • In the event of force majeure, both permanent and temporary, Courcenay is entitled to terminate the agreement in whole or in part or to temporarily suspend it without the guest being able to claim performance and/or compensation.
  • Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: danger of war, war, uprising, molestation, strikes, boycotts, disruptions in the energy circuit, in traffic or transport, government measures, scarcity of raw materials, natural disasters and furthermore all circumstances, extraordinary weather conditions.
  • Death of one of the owners or close family members, etc. under which full or partial performance of the agreement cannot reasonably and fairly be required of Courcenay. This also applies in the event of termination of the business and/or sale of the property.
  • In the event of cancellation by Courcenay, your full travel sum will be refunded.


Changing your reservation:

Changing a reservation can be possible up to 30 days before arrival, depending on availability. The booking may not be cheaper than the original booking after the change. Change fees may be charged for these changes.
